Classic Champagne cocktail

Makes 6

Ingredients

  • 180ml brandy
  • 75cl bottle champagne
  • 6 white sugarcubes
  • Ice

    Procedure

    Place a sugar cube and 30ml brandy in each Champagne flute.
    Add the champagne.

    Christmas punch

    Makes 6

    Ingredients

  • 3 lemons
  • 3 limes
  • 250ml cranberry juice
  • 250ml soda water
  • 350ml ginger beer
  • 75cl dry white wine
  • 6 white sugarcubes
  • Wedges of lemons and oranges
  • Ice

    Procedure

    In a big jug, mix the juice of the lemons and limes with cranberry juice, soda water and ginger beer.
    Pour the wine. Add ice cubes and wedges of lemon and orange to serve.

    Makes 4

    Ingredients

  • 120ml crème de cacao
  • 120ml brandy
  • 240ml cream
  • Pinch of grated fresh nutmeg
  • 24 ice cubes

    Procedure

    Mix all the ingedients in a drink shaker. Shake well.
    Serve into 4 champagne saucers.
    Sprinkled nutmeg.
